Store Credit Terms
Last updated 5 October 2026
Store credit is what we issue when we accept a return. These terms explain how it is issued, how long it lasts, how to spend it and what it will not do. They sit alongside our Returns & Store Credit policy and form part of our Terms of Sale.
1. What store credit is
Store credit is an amount held to your name that can be spent with us. It is issued when we authorise the return of a bag, jewel, cap or accessory, and it is equal to the price you paid for the piece, excluding shipping. It is not a refund and it is not money.
Watches cannot be returned, so no credit arises from a watch purchase. Credit may, however, be spent on a watch.
2. How it is issued
We issue credit once the returned piece has reached us and passed inspection against the photographs and serial records taken at dispatch. It is sent to you by email as a single code, normally within five working days of inspection.
3. How long it lasts
Credit is valid for twelve months from the date we issue it. We write to you before it expires. Unused credit lapses on expiry and cannot be reinstated, except where we have failed to notify you.
4. Spending it
Enter the code at checkout. Credit can be spent against any piece we offer, in one purchase or across several — if you spend less than the full amount, the balance stays on the code until it expires.
Where an order costs more than the credit held, you pay the difference by card or bank transfer in the usual way. Credit is applied to the price of the pieces, not to shipping, duties or import taxes.
5. It is personal to you
Credit is issued to the person who made the original purchase. It cannot be transferred, given away, sold or exchanged, and we may ask you to confirm your identity before it is redeemed.
6. It cannot be exchanged for cash
Credit is not exchangeable for cash, in whole or in part, and no change is given against it — except where the law requires otherwise, including where a piece bought with credit is faulty or not as described.
7. Returning something bought with credit
If a piece bought with credit is itself returned under our returns policy, we reissue credit rather than paying cash, and the reissued credit carries the remaining validity of the original. If that piece arrives damaged or materially different from its description, you are entitled to a cash refund of the money you actually paid and reinstatement of the credit you used.
8. Lost codes
If you lose your code, write to [email protected]. We can reissue it to the original purchaser once we have confirmed the order it came from.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer law gives you. Where the law grants a right that cannot be excluded by agreement — including your rights where a piece is faulty or not as described — that right applies regardless of anything stated above.
